Roger Anderson - Principal Consultant
Roger Anderson is a highly-skilled and experienced principal consultant at Linkage, Inc.(USA) with over twenty-five years of experience in training, leadership and organizational development. Roger has also delivered excellence to his clients in the areas of assessment, action learning, executive coaching, competency models and competency-based leadership development, performance management, selection systems, and succession management in a variety of industries both domestically and globally.
Roger's accomplishments include:
- Developing a competency model and providing 360° assessments and coaching to senior United Nations officials in ten countries including East Timor, Cambodia, and Lebanon, as a part of a UNDP initiative to create more unified leadership in the various countries.
- Facilitating a team building process for the re-organization of the Research and Development department of a major chemical company in Europe. The result was a streamlined product development process, greater clarification of leadership accountabilities, and acceleration of the development of leaders.
- Creating a leadership development system that enabled a major teaching hospital to maximize resource utilization. This included a leadership competency model, 360° assessment, training, learning contracts, and development of cross-functional action learning teams that developed participants' leadership skills as they worked on mission-critical projects.
Professional Background
Prior to joining Linkage, Roger served as Technical Training Manager in a Department of Defense Program in Taif, Saudi Arabia. He has also held the position of Training and Organizational Development Manager in a large aerospace company. Prior to this, he spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ahvaz, Iran. Roger received his Master of Human Resource Education degree from Boston University, focusing on creating a model for determining the value-added benefit of training and development programs.
